Two Surname Lines

Your ancestry will be traced back through two individuals using two surnames, for example your grandfather and grandmother (using her maiden name).

Starting from the early 20th century this package normally provides information covering four generations up to 1837 when civil registration began. The line may be extended further back to the late 1700s depending upon the accessibility of earlier records such as parish registers.

What is Included

A Family Tree

• A comprehensive Family Tree which will be provided electronically. This will include birth, death and marriage information, along with addresses and occupations where known. Siblings of direct ancestors will also be included.
• Electronic copies of relevant original sources.
• Suggestions for further research if required.

Cost:  £500

Civil Registration certificates (birth, marriage or death certificates) required to validate and advance the research findings will be an additional charge. These are currently priced at £11.00 per certificate from the General Register Office.  Birth and death certificates can also be provided as PDF copies at a cost of £7.00 each if the GRO reference is known. Such purchases will be discussed with you in advance and will be included with the family tree.

Family Tree with Narrative Report

This will include all of the above plus:

• A fully referenced and illustrated narrative report to accompany, and expand on, the Family Tree.
• This will describe the history of your family and place them in their historical context.
• It will include information about their lives, occupations and areas where they were living, including photographs where available.

Cost for the Family Tree with Report: £700
